~~NOTOC~~ ====== The Alternative Public Website ====== === APW for short === The **Alternative Public Website** is provided as a modern alternative to the supplied public website. It has a similar structure to the supplied Alternative Interface but is designed to enable you to... - Customise it - Add your own pages using a supplied template framework Generally it gives access to the same data as the default site which is uploaded in exactly the same way. However, it does include extra data where this can be supplied through the websitedataT.json file. If these extra features are not included in the data file, it is either not displayed or the default format style is used. Where data is dependant on non-zero values of related data, then the entry is also hidden. ==== Key Features ==== * The w3.css® library has been completely removed - it was overloaded with styles that were never used. Where required alternatives have been created in the main.css stylesheet. * You have access to a variety of colour themes that can be applied to the whole site. * The menu can be a traditional bar or the more modern 'hamburger' style opening at the side. * The menu is held separately and can be easily amended to suite your requirements. * It is **fully responsive**. * You can edit the Information text on the **Dashboard** by editing the enclosed file **//dashboard-info.html//**. * The order of the various panels on all pages can be arranged with little HTML knowledge. * You can use your own banner image and logo. * It is supplied with **template** pages to help you build your own additional content. * The dashboard displays additional data that can be sent from your system. ++++ Sample Images | {{gallery>:wiki:aw:images}} ++++ ==== Note ==== The Alternative Public Website is provided as is and is **NOT** part of the CumulusMX Distribution package. If you choose to use it you do so at your own risk and no guarantee is given that it will work out of the box with your system although every effort is made to make it do so. It is designed to offer the same resources as the supplied default public website but with the addition of pre-built templates to enable you to easily add your own pages. You will need to have some knowledge of html, css and JavaScript coding.
